A sign ,,,
It's assuredly a sign that I'm a-gittin old when I look back and have absolutely no idea why I captured this image. It looks composed - at least in terms of whatever one might do with a sink full of dish water. As I type, I can imagine reasons but nothing firm comes to mind. Let's see now .... what was I doing? Uh ....

Signs ...
Well, sometimes you might be driving down a road and, in spite of what appears before your eyes, technically, the route just ends! Gong ~~~~~ You don't have to believe me - just drop in for a visit with Moscow, Ohio and see for yourself. Take it easy ... I'll betcha this unnumbered road to paradise ends in the water. Happy boating.

Signs ...
Well, maybe not signs, exactly ... message? Somewhere, last June, 2012, on the blacktop of a parking lot, someone left this suggestion to humanity:

Signs ...
OK ... these were outside and inside of the same nursing home restroom door.
Make of it what you will. It's bit difficult to imaginge a geriatric acronymist hard at work in the water closet, wouldn't you say?Outside:

Finally, a pond again ...
Well, after an extensive hiatus, I was visiting East Fork State Park today and remembered to add to my pond foto collection. This pond is an easy one to find and view - no walking ... unless you want to ... or are already on foot!
Enter from the Bantam, Ohio main entrance. As you pass the Park Office on the right, take the next left turn. You'll enter a large parking lot having a a larger pond on the right and a smaller one on the left! For a Google map with tags and more information on all ponds I've documented to date, click the Ponds of East Fork link on The parking lot the top right of this blog. This parking lot also provides access to the Steve Newman Worldwalker Perimeter Trail.

You can tell ...
You can tell he's a redneck if'n he uses duck tape to fix all the rips on the grille cover that the last windstorm shredded.

Hick-o-laugh?
Not hick-o-laugh ... pictograph! Drawing on cave walls is old hat. Most of us know that (an ubsubstantiated conclusion on behalf of the write). Now-a-days, the preferred canvas, if you will, is the ubiquitous substrate termed "sidewalk". This one was found, underfoot, in the stomping grounds of the late native American chief Tecumseh. This drawing was discovered in the Milford valley, very near a location currently referred to as the "Texas Roadhouse". Anthropologists may have said that this particular pictograph series shows distinct evidence of the bipedal species Homo Mucho Hungryious, most likely a juvenile. The image may also suggest we were once visited by ancient aliens. Image slightly enhanced via data processing.

uhhh ...
In looking thru family fotos, I could usually tell which one my father-in-law took. He had BIG hands and usually managed to get one or more of the digits in front of the lens. Well, he's not with us any more. So, in tribute, here's one for you Jack - Mr. Steve'O's portrait of Lake Isabella, near Loveland, Ohio.

Keeping an Eye Out
March 2 was not only the NCAA Womens Division III playoffs at Thomas More College of Crestview Hills, Kentucky but was also a late afternoon of horror for many localities in the greater Cincinnati area. A number of tornados were rampaging in the area and, Mister Steve-O, like many, had one eye out the window and, as some say, had the other eye on the local news channels. I thought this chamelionic ability could be visually expressed thus and so:
